ISU Warning Bucharest: "Get home in the next few hours"




The County Emergency Situation Inspectorate (ISU) Bucharest sent an alert to the inhabitants of Bucharest and Ilfov County. 
ISU advises residents of these areas to stay in the house in the next few hours and avoid spending time outdoors because strong storms follow, according to the NMC's severe weather alert. 

"As a result of the NMA forecast, we recommend the following: 
 - Interrupt outdoor activities; 
- Hide in dwellings or other safe places; 
- Avoid exposure near trees, pillars, billboards, tents, scaffolding;
- Do not touch the pylons and electricity wires "- a message posted on Facebook by ISU Bucharest Ilfov. Meteorologists have issued on Sunday a meteorological information valid on Sunday, May 5, from 15:00 until Wednesday, May 8, at 9:00, when it will rain long, there will be storms and temperatures will drop sharply. 

From Sunday afternoon, May 5, and until the morning of May 8, the degree of atmospheric instability will be temporarily accentuated, and will be manifested by tornadoes that will also have torrential character, short-lived wind intensities storms, electric discharges and hail.

In short intervals or by accumulation, significant amounts of water, 15 ... 25 l / sqm and isolated over 30 ... 35 l / sqm, will be added. On Sunday (May 5th) and Monday (May 6th) the maximum temperature will be 21-23 degrees, and Monday morning will be 12-13 degrees. 

The weather will cool from Tuesday, so the morning will be around 10 degrees, afternoon 11-13 degrees, and Wednesday morning 6-7 degrees.
