Yellow Code all over the country: snowstorms, torrential rains and snowfalls




The National Meteorological Administration issued a bad weather alert. Meteorologists have issued two yellow codes of extreme phenomena, targeting the whole of the country. 

The first yellow code is valid on the 6th of May between 14:00 and 23:00 and signals brief periods of atmospheric instability. According to information provided by  NMA , most of Moldavia, local in Transylvania, Dobrogea, but also in the mountains are expected storms, electric discharges, hail and torrential rains. 

The second yellow code is valid from Monday, 23 o'clock to Tuesday, 7 may, 23 o'clock, and warns of significant amounts of precipitation, predominantly in the form of snow. In that interval, NMA specialists claim that in Transylvania, Maramures, most of Moldavia, but also in the north of Muntenia, torrential clouds will be reported. As for the quantities of water, they will exceed 25-30 l / sqm, on narrow areas reaching even the threshold of 50-60 l / sqm. There will also be no electric discharges accompanied by short wind intensifications.
